If you still use "Start
| Programs | Accessories | Notepad" to run Notepad, you might appreciate
the "Run" command in the "Start menu."
- Click on "Start" (or press CTRL+ESC) and select "Run"
- Type the program name you want to run and press ENTER.
For example, to run Notepad, type notepad and press ENTER.
This method will let you run any program that's in your PATH. This of course includes
the programs that's in your Windows directory such as PBrush (Paint Brush), MPlay32 (Media
Player), Command (Command/DOS Prompt), etc. |
