| Unlike in the early days, you don't have to type http:// in front of a web site address anymore. In some
cases, you don't even have to type the www. either. For
example, to go to http://www.acky.net/, you can just type www.acky.net (or acky.net)
as the address. Most browsers will assume that you typed a WWW address. |
